This report was created to help you learn why and how health care quality is measured for children and to help you make informed choices about your child's health care. The health care quality information in this report looks at care quality at different stages of a child’s life, from birth through the teenage years. The measures described in this report look at different aspects of health care, from a child’s well visits to follow-up care for chronic health conditions. This report also talks about ways that you can partner with doctors and their office staff to improve the quality of your child’s health care.
